About me:
From 1989 to 1990 attended Vilnius Academy of Arts and from 1997 to 2003 studied at Vytautas Magnus University, Institute of Art in Kaunas, where acquired qualification of art historian – specialization in Heritage Protection. 2004–2008 – doctoral studies at Vilnius Academy of Arts (Art Criticism, Preservation and Restoration of Art Works).
Since 2006 – the Member of Lithuanian Artists Association.
It's also worth pointing out that object of my investigation at Vilnius Academy of Arts – restoration and historical and institutional development of Lithuanian wall paintings, created by al fresco, al secco, using glue and oil techniques, from the twentieth century until the beginning of the twenty-first century (until 2006).
So one of my favorite themes is RESTORATION OF LITHUANIAN WALL PAINTINGS or INTERSECTION OF TRADITIONAL AND MODERN HERITAGE PROTECTION.
However my own painting or drawing practices are no less important for me.
